This was not an average wedding ceremony, it was an exclusive wedding fit for a king and queen at the Palace of the Lost City.

As professional photographers, we did Karabo and keneilwe’s wedding with excitement and curiosity, as we had long planned for this event. Our experience as a team was spectacular; having to take photos at the enchanted wind chime chapel surrounded by ever-green gardens with a magical backdrop was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also had the opportunity to pose with the couple in and outside the Palace and at the statue of the Famous Shawu, the elephant known for its spectacular trunks and massive size.

Karabo and Keneilwe’s wedding reception.

As the African proverb says’ never forget your roots” This was the case with Karabo and Keneilwe; no matter how luxurious their wedding was, They decided to add extra flamboyancy to their wedding reception place at their family residence. The couple arrived in style and caught everyone’s attention when they landed in a helicopter with Rolls-Royce waiting to take them to the area reserved for their wedding. Where they enjoyed their first dance, speeches by family and friends, and music performed by the Mafikizolo musical duo; if there had been a wedding that had the involvement of the entire community, then this would have been the wedding, and it will indeed go down in the books of many as a memorable day for the family, the community at large and an inspiration to all.
